Victoria Falls is recognized as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
The local people who inhabited the river up and downstream called this place Mosi-oa-Tunya, referring to the thundering sound caused by the falling sheet of water. Victoria Falls is a sharp drop, 112-meter-deep and 1700-meter-wide, carved out of the basalt rock by the eroding powers of the Zambezi River, Africa’s fourth longest river. This three-day excursion can also be extended to four or more days.
Arrival at the Victoria Falls Airport. Transfer from the Victoria Falls Airport to your accommodation in Victoria Falls. Depending on your time of arrival, you can participate in the afternoon in one of the many offered activities.
Visit after breakfast the famous Victoria Falls, the “smoke that thunders”. It is recommended to visit the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls during the high-water period from December to June. From here you have a different and impressive view of the falls in full flood. Spend the rest of the day in and around Victoria Falls. A wide choice of activities is available in Victoria Fall, most of them in close proximity of your accommodation. All activities can be booked at the guest service desk. A boat cruise on the mighty Zambezi River, Flights over the falls by helicopter, Game drives into the Zambezi National Park, White Water Rafting and Bungee Jumping to name a view. We recommend having dinner at the Boma, an African theme restaurant which offers excellent cuisine and traditional dances.
Depending on your departure time you can spend the morning in Victoria Falls,
visiting the craft markets or an interesting Crocodile Farm.
